If the shoes have laces, please loosen them first to allow your foot to slide in more easily. You may use a shoehorn or other tools if needed to avoid pulling or damaging the leather. -
Check the Fit While Standing
Use clean socks when trying on the shoes. Stand up to check the fit, ensuring you can wiggle your toes comfortably. Get a feel for the fit but avoid bending or creasing the shoes excessively.

Avoid Bending the Shoes
Gently slide your feet in and out without overstretching or bending the leather. Bending or folding the shoes can cause creases, making them unsellable if returned.
